Horribly customer service. Crystal called to let us know about our shipment and we explained to her that our elevator was broken in our office building. She told us the driver would have a dolly and could bring it up the stairs to our office if he had help. 45 minutes before the delivery I received a call from the driver and I reiterated that the elevator was broke and he would need to help us up the stairs. He went on to say he could not do this. I call his dispatcher Jeff to explain the situation and he basically called me a liar. Crystal covered herself in saying she never told us that the driver would help get the 400lb file cabinet up the stairs. Jeff also stated that in over 13 years I was the FIRST to say I was told something like this. Why would I make something like this up and inconvenience everyone? Jeff was extremely rude and did nothing to try to satisfy the customer. It would be in your best interest to go with another deliver service that displays better customer service and competence. I had no option but to leave 1 star as your cannot opt for ZERO start.

Unprofessional. This was a third party freight carrier that was supposed to contact me after I placed an order, and I had to call several times to find a tracking number. Even with a tracking number, the information does not seem accurate. Service claimed to "try to contact" me with some BS excuse about my phone not accepting calls. When they finally left me a message, they asked for me to call back without leaving a number, and then could not even determine a delivery time without special help. Poor attitude, poor information coordination, poor customer relations, poor service overall.
We have been shipping via R+L Carriers for a couple of years now. We are in the battery business and ship 500 lb. to 2,000 lb. pallets all over the country, several times per week.. On the rare occasion when something goes wrong, they fix the problem quickly and efficiently. The fact that we keep on using them is about the best endorsement that we can offer.......
Terrible experience. Item delivered to wrong city! When it finally arrived , they never called me to set up delivery. Item was extensively damaged/crushed even though sender indicated no double stacking. Unreliable company. Do yourself a favor.. Use a different company!
