I would give 0 stars if I could. We have had MULTIPLE delivery problems within our neighborhood since we moved in 2 years ago. It even got to the point where we had Joe (the supervisor for the delivery carriers) come out to an HOA meeting so that we could voice our concerns for our poor delivery. In the past 4 weeks, I have had packages for multiple people delivered to my house. So now I spend my afternoons doing the job of the post office!! Nothing has been done to fix any of these problems and then when someone does call me back they call my house at 10 PM! I will pay extra money and even pay friends and family to ship through UPS or FedEx because I fear my packages not making it me. I would not recommend this office or delivery carriers at all.
The office it’s self is not too bad, my problem if our carrier and delivery person (i know it’s a hectic job) but he just lies! I’m expecting a package I was home all day yesterday and today I check the status and it says he attempted to leave but there was no answer (at a time when I was definitely at home) next he says he left a notice ... no notice was left! I mean really?! Don’t say you did something when you didn’t! Oh and then of course the list office never picks up their direct line to confirm if the package is actually there ... so you have to drive in just for a 50/50 chance your package is there ... very frustrating!
Boerne is my county seat half way between San Antonio and my home. I had county business to do and while there needed to mail a document to someone in another part of the state. I asked if they could get the zip code for me and was informed the city was non-existent. I had to travel an hour home and look it up so I could mail the document a day later. Very irritating.
TERRIBLE POST OFFICE. They constantly deliver my mail to my neighbors and I receive their mail. I DO NOT receive my packages or mail, thank God for UPS and FedEx. No wonder the USPS is always in financial trouble, nobody likes to use them. I am SICK and TIRED of these clowns giving my mail to my neighbors. If I could give them a minus star I would.
Horrible Post office, everything other users have posted are 100 % spot on. They are slow, incompetent, and frequently lose important and expensive packages. If the package does show up, it is delivered 1 to 3 days after they confirm in their database that is was delivered.
Keeps delivering the wrong packages to the wrong people this started when the got new postal men and women. I have had 3 packages missing over the last two days. Other than that I have not had a problem with them, their employees in the office are very kind and helpful.

UPDATE: They once were awful (beyond awful) and they now have some new tall dark-haired guy running the show quite well. Thank god for him turning things around because I was about to rip my hair out. It is now no longer a one star but a five star post office.
I was told the usps was horrible in Boerne and sure enough it is. I’ve never had this much trouble receiving a package ever. Expedited shipping? Don’t waste your money unless it’s UPS or fedex
Front counter help is very slow, they are rude, very slow, half the time only two counters are open, these people need to be a bit more friendly and SMILE!!! We are paying your wages!!!

They are some of the greatest men and women I have ever dealt with in a U.S. POST OFFICE. Truly helpful and knowledgeable. You want help by the USPS, go to the one in Boerne, TX.
No one answers the phone. Lines are long and if you have any questions beforehand just Google them it will save you the headache.
They are just so awesome. Doing their best every day.
